5.th Int  To the Fifth he saith that he went to the head of S.t Lawrence's Creeke in
             company with of Henry Spinck Senior who then told him that at the
             head of the said Creeke stood the bounded tree of S.t Josephs Mannor by
             the Road side

6.th Int  To the sixth Interrogatory he saith that the said Henry Spinck told him
             that the said Road did run from the head of the said S.t Lawrence's Creeke to  
             the head of Back River and that The said Road was called Potuxent Path
             and noe other path soe called that ever he heard of

7.th Int  To the seventh he saith not

8.th Int  To the Eighth he saith that he very well knows S.t Nicholas his Creeke
             and that it Issues out of Back River to the Norward of Harvey Town

                   M.r Thomas Sprigg aged sixty four years or thereabouts being sworn
             and examined saith

1.st Int  To the first Interrogatory he saith That he did not know Nicholas Harvey
             but the Land he lived on called S.t Josephs Mannor he knew very well
             haveing lived in Potuxent River Thirty Eight years and upwards

2.d Int  To the second he saith not

3.d Int  To the Third he saith not

4.th Int To the fourth he saith that he has known the now Road of Potuxent
             Forty years and called by the name of Phenix's Pat which path went
             towards S.t Maryes to a Tree called the Horn Tree and that Governor Stone
             told him that he gave the Indian King of Potuxent Two Matchcoats
             to clear and mark the said path from S.t Maryes to M.r Phenix's and that
             it is about forty four years agoe since it was cleared

5.th Int  To the fifth he saith not

6.th Int  To the sixth he saith not

7.th Int  To the seventh he saith not

8.th Int  To the Eighth he saith he knows S.t Nicholas his Creeke and that it issue
             out of Back River and runs up nearest West

                         In testimony of all what is declared before us we have sett our
                         hands and seales
