             whereof the pties aforesaid to these Indentures interchangeably have putt their
             hands and seales the day and year first above written

       Memorandum this Fifth daÿ of Maÿ 1694 Came the within named Ignatius
       Craycroft and Sophia his wife and acknowledged the within Indenture to be their act and deed
       to the use within mentioned And the said Sophia being secretly examined did declare that she
       did the same of her free and voluntary will and without any Compulsion of her said husband
       The same acknowledged before us underwritten two of their Majestyes Justices of the provintiall
       Court

Patt of              persons to whom these presents shall come Greeting in our
Confirmation/   Lord God everlasting Know ye yt whereas Thomas Hobden
700 Acres       late of S.nt Maries County within this our Province of Maryland
S.t Maries       decd had granted unto him by Letters Patents under y.e great seal
County/           of our said Province bearing date y.e seaventh day of February in
                       y.e twelfth year of [the] our late Father Cæcilius of noble memory Annoq
                       Domi One thousand six hundred forty & three a Tract of Land called Hobdens
                       Hole lying in S.t Georges River as by Certificate containing & laid
                       out for seven hundred Acres of land or thereabouts as also by y.e said
                       Letters Patents remaining upon Record in our said Province it doth &
