643) 653 Estate haveing or Lawfully clayming of into or out of the said Tract of Land or part thereof shall and will from time to time and at all times hereafter at the reasonable request and Costs and charges in the Law of the said George Copley his heires or Assignes make doe performe acknowledge levy execute and suffer all and every such further and other lawfull and reasonable act and acts thing and things whatsoever for the further and other lawfull and more perfect assurance surely sure makeing and conveying the before bargained tract of Land unto the said George Copley his heires to the use of the said George Copley his heires and Assignes for ever Be it by fine feoffement release Confirmacon deed or deeds Enrolled or not enrolled or by the acknowledgement and enrollment of these presents or by any other Lawfull Wayes or meanes w.tsoever as by the said George Copley his heires or assignes or his or their Councill Learned in the Law shall be reasonably devised or advized and required In Wittnes whereof the parties aforesaid to these Indentures interchangeably have put their hands and seales the day and yeare first above written Sealed and delivered Robert Burman (Seale) in the p.rsence of us underwritten by the above Named Robert Burman and Anna Burman (Seale) Anna his Wife Endorsed on the back Mich.a Earley as followeth May the 5.th 1693 Came the Kenelm Cheseldyn within named Robert Burman & Anne his wife Thomas Grunwin in to the Prov.ll Court and the said Anna being Privetly Examined according to Law they both acknowledgeth Recorded 10.th June 1693 the within written to be his Act & Deed to the use therein menconed John Llewelin Clk Asust.r Know all men by these presents that I George Copley of London Merchant have Made ordaned Constituted and appointed and by these presents doe make ordaine Constitute and appoint my Loveing frind Kenelm Cheseldyn of the Province of Maryland Gent to be my true and Lawfull attorney for mee & in my Name and steed and to my use to performe act and doe the affair and business hereafter menconed whereas Robert Burman of Maryland aforesaid Merchant by a certain writeing under his hand and seale in London dated the twelfth day of August 1687 in the third yeare of the Reigne of o.r late Soveraigne Lord King James the Second of England &c did for and in Consideracon of the a Certain Competent Sume of Lawfull Money of England to him in hand truely paid absolutely sold transferred and set over unto the said George Copley his heires Executors Administrators and assignes all that part of Land Called Burmans Adventure containing one thousand Acres or thereabouts Lyeing on the north side of Petapsco River in the County of Baltemore Baltemore |
