615) 625 Thomas Boarman William Bexley and Robert Grundy appraised the 21 22 & 23 dayes of November 1692 and certifyed that they had Vallued and adjudged the good shipp Ann her standing Rigging as they then were with all her Gunns Tackle Rigging apparell amunicon & furniture in the sd schedule menconed to bee worth foure hundred & one pounds and eight shillings sterling And the sherriffe of Talbott County afsd came here also in Court and made returne of another precept to him directed from this Court whereby hee was comanded that when the sd shipp togeather with all her Gunns tackle apparell amunition and furniture and all boates & sloopes to the same shipp belonging should be appraised and Vallued by the appraiso.rs as afsd that hee should take the afsd shipp togeather with all her Gunns tackle apparell amunicon and furniture boates and sloopes to her belonging condemned and to be appraised as afsd and the same and every part and parcell thereof without delay in some Publick place in the sd County expose to sale to the best advantage of the owners of the sd shipp as hee could and the mony and produce thereof that should arise by the sale of the sd shipp &c.a her gunns Tackle apparell amunicon and furniture and the boates and sloopes to the same belonging hee was to keep in his Custody soe that he should have the same att the sd Court of Admiralty to bee held at athe Citty of S.t Maryes the 13.th day of December instant that the sd Court might proceed to distribute & render the same to such p.rsons as by the sd Court is Decreed for and in satisfaccon of their wages charges expences and Damages as afsd and that hee should have there the sd writt togeather with the appraisment & other thereto touching and concerning hee the sd sherriffe by vertue of the sd writt did signifye to this court That diverss app.rtenances to the sd shipp Anne were by the sd James Anderson Gaged & pledged to Robert Ungle M.rchant for the sume of 59.ℓℓ 19.sc sterling a p.rticular whereof was thereunto annexed The w.ch sd appurtnances w.th the sd shipp & the residue of her Furniture &c.a he had caused to be appraised as by a Certain schedule to the sd writt annexed and that hee had sold the sd shipp and all her Gunns Tackle Amunicon Rigging and furniture as in the schedule &c.a for the sume of foure hundred thirty & one pounds one shilling & six pence sterling That is to say the sume of one hundred pounds ready mony payd and the residue by Bill of Exchange all w.ch here ready hee had &c.a as by the sd writt hee was required and comanded Whereupon this Court this p.rsent day proceeded to apporcon the wages due to the sd Comp.lts and their Damages to ascesse & the Costs & charge expended which amounted to the sume of 362.ℓℓ 5.sc & 2.d if John Grosses wife have reced the 24.ℓℓ 10.sc deducted out of his wages to be lodged in the hands of the sd W.m Sharp for the use of the owners upon his security as afsd butt in Case the sd Grosses wife have not received the sd 24.ℓℓ 10.sc then the sd William Sharpe is also to give him security to bee answearable to him the sd John Grosse for the same out of the sd Ballance lodged in his hands as afsd Andrew Barnes the other plt made it appeare by his oath that he was shipt the 14.th of Octob.r 1690 at 3.ℓℓ 5.sc p month according to which rate hee was to bee allowed his wages An account of the Seamens wages Disbursments and charges of the shipp Ann of Newcastle Viz To David |
