586 (576 or Claimes of any manner of p.rson or p.rsons whatsoever by the said George Thompson his heires Ex.rs and Adm.rs of and from all Manner of former and other Gifts Grants bargains sailes Leases Mortgages Joyntures Dowers title of Dowers statut Marchant and all staple Recognizance Extents Judgments Executions uses Entailes Rents Arrearages of Rents forfeitures fines issus and Amercements and of and from all an singular other titles troubles Charges demands and Incumbrances whatsoever And the said George Thompson had made comitted suffered obmitted or done by the said George Thompson his heires Ex.rs Adm.rs or Assignes or by any other p.rson or p.rsons whatsoever and the said George Thompson his heires Ex.rs Adm.rs and Assignes and all and Every of them and Every other p.rson or p.rsons whatsoever Lawfully Claiming by from or under him them or any of them shall & Will Warrant and for Ever Defend the before Mentioned p.rmisses unto the said Barnabie Ancketill his heires Ex.rs Adm.rs and Assignes for Ever according to the true intent and plaine Meaning of the befor Mentioned p.rmisses to all intents & purposes whatsoever In Witness whereof the before Mentioned parties to these p.rsents Indenture have hereunto set their hands and fixed their seales the day & year above specefied Signed Sealed and Delivered George Thompson (sealed) in the p.rsence of us Charles Bonnick Barnabie B A Ancketill (sealed) his marke Thomas O Pierce his marke On the Back side of the aforegoeing Deed was Endorsed Samuell H Wickham Thus (Viz) his marke Provinciall Court Maryland Septemb the 28.th 1692 Likewise came Margrett Thompson wife of the sd Ge Thompson who being Came George Thompson the within Named and Acknowledged the privately Examined Did acknowledge y.t Within mentioned land to the within Named Barnaby Ancketill within menconed p.rmisses to be the right of according to Act of Assembly in such case made & provided the above named Barnabie Ancktill in Open Court according to an Act of Assembly in such W Taylard W Taylard, Clk case made & provided before the Hon.ble Recorded 8.th October 1692 Thos Tench & Rob.t King Esq.rs Septemb.r 28.th 1692 This Indenture Made the 17.th day of September A.o 1692 Between George Thompson of S.t Maries County in the Province of Maryland Gent of the one part and Barnaby Ancketill of the sd County & Province Gent of the other part Witnesseth that the sd George Thompson for and in Consideration of Two Parcells of Land (the one called Ancketill formerly laid out for five hundred Acres of Land but upon Resurvey found to bee but four hundred and forty Acres of LAnd the other parcell called Ancketills Range Containing Fifty Acres of Land in both parcells being but four hundred & Ninety Acres of Land which parcells of land are on the East side of Cheseapeak Bay in Talbott County on the North side of Choptanke River and in Harrisses Creeke and Ancketills Range Joynes upon M.r John Andertons Land to him the said Thomson sould & delivered and Conveyance for them drawne and delivered with Turfe & Tuigg upon the same by the said Barnaby Ancketill from him his heires Execut.rs Adm.rs and Assignes for ever unto the said George Thompson his heires Ex.rs Adm.rs and Assignes for ever wherewith the said George Thompson doth hereby Acknowledge himselfe therewith fully satisfyed Contented & paid and therby fully cleerly & Absolutely acquit Discharged Exonorate and Release |
