584 (574 and cause & procure to bee made done suffered & Executed all & Every such further lawfull & reasonable Act & Acts for the further better assureing & sure makeing of the premisses & every part & parcell thereof to the said William Harris his heires & assignes as by his or theire Councell Learned in the Law shall bee reasonably devised advised or Required In Witnesse whereof the p.rties first above Named to these p.rsents Indentures theire hands & seales have sett & putt dated the day & yeare first above written Annoq.r Domini 1692 the marke of the marke of James & Mack^a^bey Elizabeth T Mackabey Signed sealed & delivered in the p.rsence of On the back side of the aforegoeing Deed was the marke of Isaac X Monett Christian Harris Memorand Tho Hardin That this day to witt the seaventh day of October in the fourth yeare of theire Majestie Reign &c Annoq.r Domini 1692 Came the Within Named James Mackabey Before us whose Names are hereunto subscribed two of their Maj.tie Councill for the Province of Maryland and acknowledged the within written Indenture to be his act & Deed and the Land and p.rmisses therein Mentioned to be the Right of the within Named W.m Harris his heires & assignes for ever and at the same tyme Elizabeth the wife of the said James Mackabey did the same and further the said Elizabeth being by us Secretly Examined out of the hearing of her said husband did declare That Shee did Freely & Volluntarily give up all & singular her right title & Interest of in or to the within Mentioned p.rcell of Land & Premisses Neither being thereunto induced by any feare threates or displeasure of her said husband and they both requested that the said Indenture as theire Acts & Deeds Might be Recorded in the Reccords of the Provinciall Court for the Province of Maryland In testimony whereof wee have here unto Subscribed o.r Names the day & yeare aforesaid October 8.th 1692 Int.r Thomas Tench John Addison This Indenture made the 17.th day of September Anno 1692 Bettween George Thompson of S.t Maries County in the Province of Maryland Gent of the one part and Barnabie Ancketill of the said County & Province Gent of the other part Witnesseth that the said George Thompson for and in Consideration of Two p.rcells of Land (the one called Ancketill formerly Laid out for five hundred Acres of Land but upon Resurvey found To be but four hundred & forty Acres of Land the other p.rcell of Land called Ancketill Range Containing fifty Acres of Land in both p.rcells being but four hundred and Ninty Acres of Land both which p.rcells of Land are on the East side of Chesapeak Bay in Talbott County on the North side of Choptank River and in Harrises Creeke and Ancktill Range Joyns upon M.r John Andertons Land To him the Said Thompson Sould & Delivered and Conveyance for them drawne and Delivered with turfe & twige upon the same by the said Barnabie Ancketill from him his heires Ex.rs Adm.rs and Assignes for Ever unto the said George Thompson his heires Ex.rs Adm.rs and Assignes for Ever Wherewith the said George Thompson doth hereby acknowledge and himself therewith fully satisfied |
