       Received this 27.th of October 1687 of M.r John Holland a note of this date
       by him drawne Payable to me for Two Thousand Pounds of Tobacco drawne
       upon Joseph Freeman which if Freeman accepts to Pay to me I Doe as Exe.rx
       of Thomas Jackson discharge & Release s.d Holland of all Debts dues & demands
       due to my husband or my selfe Wittness my Hand & seal the Day & year

       Know all men by these Presents that Wee Samuel Warcupp of Calvert County
       Gent and Philip Lynes of S.t Maries County M.rchant Doe bind our selves our
       heires Executors & Administrators joyntly & severally each & every of us unto
       Francis Pennington of S.t Maries County Clk to pay or cause to be payd unto him
       the said Francis his Ex.rs Admi.rs or Assignes the full & just sum of Five thousand
       Five hundred fifty foure Pounds of Tobacco on the Tenth Day of October convenient
       for shipping in Patuxent River or S.t Maries County Together with the cost of
       ne Excat provini taken out against the said Samuell upon the Complaint
       or on the behalfe of the said Francis Pennington & the proceedings thereon
       hitherto Wittness our Hands & seales this Twelfth day of September Annoq Dom

       Reputed Ordained & Assigned And by these presents doe hereby Constitute Depute
       Ordaine & Assigne him y.e said Robert Carvile Our Attorney Generall in all Our
       Courts of Record within our said Province of Maryland To have hold & Exercise
       the said Office of Our Attorney Generall to him y.e said Robert Carvile dureing
       our pleasure And to take & receive in and for Excerciseing the same Office
