466 (456 Said attorney by these presents my whole power strength & authority in and about the premisses And upon a receipt of any such debts sumes of Money or quantities of Tobacco bills bonds notes accounts as aforesaid Acquittances or other discharges for mee & in my name to make seale & deliver & all and every other act or acts thing or things devise or devises in the Law whatsoever needfull & ne^c^essary to bee done in & about the premisses for the Recovery of all or any such debts sumes of money quantities of tobacco bills bonds notes or acts aforesaid for mee & in my name to doe Execute & performe as fully largely ^&^ amply to every respect to all intents constructions & purposes as I my selfe might or could doe if I were personally present Ratifyeing alloweing & holding firme & stable whatsoever my said attorny or his substitutes legally authorized shall doe or cause to bee done in & about the premisses In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand & seale this 7.th day of September Annoq Domini 1687 Signed & sealed Richard Peacock (seale in the psence of us Morrice Geyry On the back of this writ James Broadbrook This Letter of Attorney was proved to bee the act & deed of the within named Richard Peacock by the oath of Morrice Geyry a witness thereunto this 25.th day of November 1687 before mee Morrice Geyry Recorded March y.e 26.th 1688 Nicholas Sewall R Tull Clk Maryland fs Whereas my father Thomas Wally late of Calvert County deceased has given and bequiethd unto mee a Certaine parcell of tract of Land Lyeing in wicokomoco River in Somersett County at my Comeing to the age of twenty one yeares & now being twenty and two yeares of age have aliend sould & bargained unto Michaell Jud & heirs for ever the said tract of Land Comonly Called Wallys Change Be it ^therefore^ Knowen unto all men by these presents I John Wally of Baltemore County doe hereby Constitute impower & authorize my well and beloved freind Israell Skelton of Baltemore County aforesaid to acknowledge for mee & in my name and behalfe in open Court or before one or more of his Lopp.s privye Councell as the Lawe doth require a Ceartaine Conveyance by me past unto the said Michaell Jud for the said tract of Land Ratifieing and allowing the acknowledgement of Israell Skelton my true & Lawfull attorney in this Case as if I had been there personally present In Witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale this 23.th day of May Annoq Domini 1685 being Present signum James Phillips John I Walles Daniel Morphis Proved in open Court y.e 30.th day of May 2 ½ sides by the oath of James Phillips Recorded March y.e 26.th 1688 R Tull |
