456 (446 Thompson doth hereby acknowledge and himselfe therewith fully Contented satisfyed and paid And thereof and Every parte thereof doth hereby Acquitt Exonerate & discharge the said John Brome his heires Executo.rs & Adm.rs and Every of them forever by these p.rsents hath given granted aliened bargained sold Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these p.rsents doth fully freely Clearely and Absolutely give grant Alien bargaine sell Enfeoffe and Confirme unto the said John Brome his Heires & Assignes forever All that Tract or parcell of Land called Hamstead Lying in Dorchester County on the south side of greate Choptanke in the Forkes of the North East branch of Watts his Creeke begining att an Oake standing on a forke by the mayne Runn of the said branch marked with Twelve Notches (viz.t) four four & four Running upp the said mayne branch and bounded by itt according to all its severall windeings and Courses vizt North North East fourteene Perches East North East Twenty perches ^East twenty perches^ East ^ by North Twenty perches North North East Thirty two perches East & by North twenty Perches North East & by East twenty Perches North and by East twenty Eight perches East Twenty Perches East South East twenty Eight Perches Crossing a small branch Issueing out of the said mayne branch which Runns South South East into the woods yett is not bounded by that branch butt continues along the Mayne branch from the end of that East South East Course Running North East and by East Eight Perches & North East and by North twenty Perches East & by North Twenty Eight Perches East & windeing to the North East Twenty Six perches then North Tenn Perches to an oake marked as aforesaid standing by another forke of the branch and from the said oake Runns East South East Two hundred & sixteene Perches into the woods & from the end of the East South East Lyne Runns South South West four hundred Perches till the first bounded Tree of a parcell of Land called Kirkehams discovery beareing west north west & soe itt Runns west north west to the first bounded Tree of Kirkhams discovery standing in a Glad of a branch of watts his Creeke and from thence itt Runns Paralell & bounded with the said Kirkhams discovery North North East one hundred & forty Perches Crosse a greate Neck of Land to a bounded Oake standing by the side of a branch being the second bounded Tree of Kirkhams discovery & from thence Right Through the branch & then downe the branch side we^s^tward according to itts severall windeings & Courses parted by the branch from the Land called Kirkhams discovery to the first specified Marked Oake standing as aforesaid in a forke containeing & Laid out according to the Certificate of survey thereof taken & Retourned into the Land office att the Citty of S.t Maries beareing date the Twenty fourth day of October one thousand six hundred Eighty & Two & there Remaineing upon Record for six Hundred acres more or Lesse Togeather with all & all manner of Trees ways Passages woods Underwoods Pastures feedings Comons Comon of pasture waters ditches fences Rents Easements profitts benefitts Priviledges comoditys Hereditaments & Appurtenances whatsoever to the said Tract or parcell of Land belonging or in any wise Appertaineing or accepted Reputed taken demised used Occupied or Enjoyed as parte parcell or Member thereof & the Reversion & Reversions Remaind.r & Remainders Rents Issues & profitts whatsoever of all and singular the before menconed to bee hereby bargained p.rmisses with Thappurtenances & Every parte & parcell thereof And alsoe all the Estate Right Title Interest use Possession property Inherritance Claym & demand whatsoever of him the said George Thompson of in or to the aforemenconed to bee heereby bargained p.rmisses with Thappur.ts or any parte thereof Togeather alsoe with all deeds writeings Evidences Pattents boundarys & Minuments whatsoever Touching or Concerning the said p.rmisses or or any parte thereof To have and to hold the said Tract or parcell of Land & all and singuler other the said p.rmisses before Menconed or intended to bee heereby given granted aliened bargained & sold with theire & Every of theire Appurtenances & Every parte and parcell thereof unto the said John Brome his Heires & Assignes forever To and for the onely proper use & behoofe of the said John Brome his Heires & Assignes forever and the said George Thompson for himselfe his Heires Exec.rs Adm.rs & Assignes doth Covenant promise & grant to and with the said John Brome his Heires Exec.rs Adm.rs & Assignes & to and with Every of them by these p.rsents That hee the said George Thompson his Heires Exec.rs Adm.rs & Assignes all & singuler the beforemenconed to bee hereby bargained p.rmisses with Thappur.ts & Every parte & parcell thereof unto the said John Brome his Heires & Assignes to & for his & theire owne proper use & behoofe as aforesaid from & against him the said George Thompson his Heires & Assignes & from & against all & Every other person and persons whatsoever shall & will warrant & Ever defend by these p.rsents And the said George Thompson for himselfe his Heires Exec.rs Adm.rs & Assignes & for Every of them did Covenant promise & grant to & with the said John Brome his heires & Assignes & to & with Every of them by theise p.rsents in manner & forme following that hee the said George Thompson att the time of the Insealeing & delivery of these presents hath in himselfe full power good |
