454 (444 Wittnesseth that I Hester Bridger sole Executrix of the Last Will and Testament of My Late decead husband Coll Joseph Bridger as well in behalfe of the decident as my oune and in both our behalves have acknowledged and by These presents doe acknowledge and Confirme the giveinge Grannteing of the said deed of Grannt togather with all Lands and tenements with all other Appurtenances Thereunto Belongeinge or anÿ wise appurtaineing unto Thomas Jones his heires and assignes for Ever and for better confirmation of the same bee it Knowne unto all Men by these p.rsents that I Hester Bridger aforesaid as well in the Ex.rx of the Last will and testament of Joseph Bridger deced aforesaid as well in The Behalfe of the decedent aforesaid as Mÿ owne and in both out besthalves Doe Make ordaine constitute and appoint my well Beloved freind the hono.ble William Stevens Esq.r to be my true and Lawfull attornÿ for me and in My Name stead and place as I am quallified aforesaid to acknowledge and Confirme The aforesaid Land and all and Every the appurtenances thereunto Belongeing or any wayes appurtaineing to be the Proper and reall Estate of him the said Thomas Jones his heires and assignes for Ever free and Cleare from the Claime & Claimes of us or Either of us o.r heires or Either and Everÿ of ours Executours & administrators or any p.rson or p.rsons Claimeing or pretendeing to Claime any Right title or intrest unto the aforesaid premises further I doe impower Mÿ said attorneÿ being quallified as aforesaid for the better Conveying and sure Makeing over of the aforesaid Land and premisses to be the proper and reall Estate of him the sayd Thomas Jones his heyres and assignes for Ever That Mÿ said attornÿ shall Confesse and acknowledge any futher or better assurance as the Law of that Country doth require or any of the aforesaid Thomas Jones p his better Coucill in the Law Can devise advise or require and what mÿ said Atturnÿ shall act or doe in the p.rmisses I the said Hester Bridger Ex.rx as afforesaid doe by these presents ratifie and Confirme and allow of to be as firme and as good and vallid in Law to all intents and purposes as if I My selfe weare personallÿ present in witnesse hereof I have here unto sett mÿ hand and seale this 3.d daÿ of Julÿ 1686 signed sealed and delivered in the presence off Hester Bridger (sealed) Tho Pitt Hen Applewhaite Arth Smith This Letter of attornÿ was in Court held July the 3.d 1686 acknowledged by M.rs Hester Bridger Ex.rx off Coll Joseph Bridger deced to ^be^her act and deed Tet John Pitt Cl Cur |
