       with free ingress egress & regress & likewise free liberty of Hawking ^ Hunting Fishing &^ fowling in the said
       liberty y.e Island & wild Hoggs excepted  but in Case y.e s.d Shankes or his Assignes do
       kill or take alive any wild Hoggs upon y.e s.d Mano.r y.e Islands excepted as before
       one mojety so killed or taken to restore to y.e L.d of y.e Mano.r & y.e s.d Shankes is to
       have free liberty to sell any Timber upon y.e s.d Mano.r unfenced & in forest onely to
       build upon y.e s.d Tract of Land to him y.e s.d John Shankes & to his own proper naturall
       Fences To have & to hold y.e s.d three hundred Acres of Land be it more or less
       with all priviledges profitts & Comodities except as before excepted unto him y.e said
       John Shankes & his Heires from y.e date of these presents for ever yielding &
       paying therefore yearly every yeare unto y.e s.d Thomas Gerard his Executo.rs Administrators
       or Assignes three barrells of good Indian Sheld Corne or thirty Shill in money
       before or after y.feast of o.r blessed Saviours Nativity at y.e Manno.r House of S.t
       Clements afores.d & there to appeare upon suniom to do homage & service at all
       Courts Leetis & Courts barons y.t may or shall be holden upon y.e s.d Manno.r according
       to y.e small Custome of England to y.e Law of the Province Provided y.t y.e
       s.d Shankes shall not sell or alienate y.e s.d pcell of Land but if he y.e s.d John
       Shankes shall happen to Dye & leave no sune behinde him to survive that then
       after y.e decease of his now Wife Abigall or any other woman y.t he shall take
       to Wife then y.e whole pcell of Land shall returne & redound to him the said
       Gerard his Heires Executo.rs Administrato.rs or Assignes for ever any thing to y.e
       Contrary hereof before expressed notwithstanding & in Confirmacon hereof
       the pties aboves.d have hereunto interchangeably sett to these hands & seales
       the day & yeare first above written

       I Thomas Jones late of the Citty of Bristoll in the Kingdome of England Marchant Doe put
       in my place and stead Kenelm Cheseldyn of S.t Maryes gentl to be my Lawfull Attorney To
       Acknowledge a Release and satisfaccon Upon Record in the Provinciall Court unto Thomas
       Pattison or his Attorney for all Judgments and Executions whatsoever obtained in the above
       said Court at my suite Whatsoever or any any time against the said Thomas Pattison by
       Reason the said Thomas Pattison hath fully payd and satisfyed the same Ratifyeing allowing
       and confirmeing whatsoever my said Attorney shall Act or doe in the premisses as if I
       my self were personally present and had done the same As Witnesse my hand and seale
       the Third day of February Annoq Domini One thousand six hundred and Eighty
