(160 On the back side of the aforegoing Deed of Conveyance was thus written February y.e 14.th 1679 The within written Deed was then Acknowledged in open Court by the w.thin named William Guither to bee his Act and Deed to the uses therein mentioned Nic Painter Cl Cur Prova.tis To all Xpian People to whome these p.rsents shall Come to bee seene read or heard I Thomas Taillor of Ann Arrund.ll County in the Province of Maryland Esq.r send Greeting in our Lord god Everlasting Whereas by one Indenture of bargaine and sale bearing date the Fifth day of Jan.ry in the Two and fortieth yeare of the Dominion of the Right hono.ble Cæcilius &c Absolute Lord and Proprietary of the Province of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &c of most noble memory and in the yeare of our Lord god One thousand six hundred seaventy and three made Betweene William Dorington of the County of Dorchester in the Province of Maryland Planter of the one pte and wee the said Thomas Taylor by the name of Thomas Taylor of Ann Arund.ll County in the aforesaid Province of Maryland Esq.r Lawfull Guardian to Solomon Thomas the Lawfull sonn and heire of Thomas Thomas late of the County of Calvert dec.l of the other part The said William Dorington for the Consideracon therein menconed hath Given granted Aliened and Confirmed and by those presents doth give grant Allienate and Confirme unto mee the said Thomas Taylor my heires and Assignes all that tract parcell or Divident of Land Called Island Neck scituate Lyeing and being in in his Lopps County of Calvert And begining att a marked oake standing by a marsh neare the head of a Creeke called Island Creeke on the west side thereof and Runing Downe the Creeke into the River for Length six hundred eighty five perches Bounding on on the south with the said River for Length Fifty perches to a Creeke Called back Creeke on the west with the said Creeke for the length of Foure hundred and five perches to a marked Beech tree and with a Line drawne north and by east from the said beech for the Length of Two hundred and seaventy perches to a marked oake on the north w.th a line drawne east from the said oake unto the said Island Creeke on the east with the said Creeke Containing six hundred Acres bee the same more or lesse Together w.th all Rights proffitts and benifitts thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining Royall mynes Excepted Together w.th all such estate right title Interest use possion Rent Reversion Remand Eposibility Inheritance Clayme and demand whatsoever of him the said William Dorington or in or to the said parcell or tract of Land and premisses w.th the appurtenances and every part and parcell thereof and alsoe all and singuler Together alsoe with all Timber trees woods and underwoods then growing standing and being upon the said Tract parcell or Divident of Land and premisses or any part or parcell thereof and alsoe all and singuler the Pattents grants deeds writeings Evidences Escripts boundaries Chirographies of Fynes exemplifications of Recoverie and Minuments whatsoever Touching or Concerning the said Land or p.rmisses or any part or parcell thereof To have and to hold the said parcell of land Called Island neck w.th all and every the appurtenances before menconed to bee thereby given granted aliened and Confirmed to mee the said Thomas Taillor my heires and assigne To and for the s.d onely pper use and behoofe Of the said Solomon his heires and Assignes for ever & to none other use intent or purpose whatsoever as by the same Indenture among divers other Covenants grants and Agreements Relacon being thereunto had more att large it doth and may appeare Now Know yee that I the said Thomas Taylor as well for and in Regard of the Trust and Confidence in mee Reposed by the said Solomon Thomas (as |
