                   Know all men by these p.rsents that I Marmaduke Simms of the County of Saint
                   Maries in the Province of Maryland Carpenter am holden and firmely bounden unto Henry
                   Hide and George Macall of the same County Gent the full quantity of One hundred thousand
                   pounds of good sound Marchantable Tobacco and Caske To bee paid to the said Henry
                   Hide and George Macall or to theire Certaine Attorney theire Exec.rs Adm.rs or assignes
                   To the w.ch payment well and truely to bee made I binde my selfe my heires Exec.rs
                   and administrators firmely by these presents sealed with my seale & dated the Seaventh
                   day of July in the seaven and thirtieth yeare of the Dominion of Cæcilius &c
                   Annoq Domini One thousand six hundred sixty eight

       The Condicon of this obligacon is such that Whereas Fortune Milford of the County of Saint Maryes abovesaid
       widdow hath by her deed of Gift bearing Even date herewith Given and Granted as well to the above named Henry
       Hide and George Macall as the above bound Marmaduke Simms All that parcell of Ground Whereon she now
       Liveth containing by estimacon one hundred acres w.th the appurtenances To the onely use and behoofe of Thomas
       and Joseph Mitford her Children after her decease And whereas also the said Fortune hath in the same deed of
       Gift given and Grannted to them the said Feoffees in Trust for the use and behoofe of her said Children Two Cowes &
       three Heiffers w.th all theire female Encrease And Whereas alsoe there is a Marriage Intended to be shortly
       had and solemnized Between the said Marmaduke Simms & Fortune Mitchford If therefore the above bounden
       Marmaduke Simes shall not from time to time or at any timer hereafter Committer Cause to bee committed or done
       any waste or distruccon in or upon the said grannted parcell of Land or any the said grannted p.rmisses in the
       said deed grannted Contrary to the true intent and meaning of the said Deed of Grannt And also if the said
       Marmaduke Simmes doe & shall at the next Provincall Court to bee holden for the said Province Give and grant
       the said Fortune full power and authority (as if she were sole) to acknowledge in open Court the said deed of
       Grannt to bee her Act and Deed and the said acknowledgement to stand remayne and bee in full force according
       to the true intent and meaning of the said Deed as therein is expressed any Lawe Usage or Custome to the Contrary thereof
       in any wise Notwithstanding That then this obligation to bee voyd or else to stand in Full force and vertue

                                                 On the back side of the above Obligacon was Written Viz

    Octob.r y.e 7.th 1679   The w.thin bounden Marmaduke Symmes did then acknowledge the w.thin written bond to bee
                   by him signed sealed and delivered as the act and deed unto the w.thin named Henry Hide and George
                   Macall

Richard Walker   Memorandum that the Eight and twentyeth day of Septemb.r in the third yeare of the
         ag.t             Dominion of Charles Lord Baltemore &c Annoq dom One thousand six hundred seaventy eight Came
Thomas Lomax    Richard Walker by Christopher Rousby his Attorney before the Honoble Phillip Calvert Esq.r Chancello.r
                            of this province and prayed his Lordshipps Writt of Erro.r to the said Richard Walker to bee
                            granted To the Comissioners or Justices of his Lordshipps County Court of Saint Maryes County
                            to bee directed To require them the said Comss.rs of the said County Court of Saint Maries County
                            to send before his Lordshipps Justices of his Provinciall Court att the Citty of Saint Maries
                            the Eighth day of October then next following The tenor of the Record Proceedings & Judgm.t
                            of the said Saint Maryes County Court in a Case lately depending Between Thomas Lomax pl.t &
                            the said Richard Walker Deft And it is granted unto him The teno.r of w.ch said writt followeth in
                            these words
    Charles absolute Lord and Proprietary of the province of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &c
                            To our Comission.rs of Saint Maryes County Greeting Because in the Record and Processe as also in the
                            Rendering of Judgment before you in our said Court against Richard Walker at the suite of
