133 (124 Maryland fs To Robert Carvile Robert Ridgely William Crosse Gent and every of them and all and every other Attorneys of the provinciall Court of the province I William Hemsley of Talbott County in the same province Gent Send Greeting Whereas I the said William Hemsley by due Course of Law in the same Court held in October Anno One thousand six hundred seaventy eight Did recover against Mary Roe Exx of Edward Roe Gent deceased a Certaine Judgment for about the sume of Nine Thousand pounds of Tobacco w.th Costs of suite to mee payable To bee Issueing and recoverable out of the said deceaseds Estate Now Know yee that sythence I doe hereby acknowledge to have received by the hands of M.r William Combes full satisfaction of for and upon the said Judgm.t and all other manner of debt and debts before that to me ^due^ & payable or Recoverable out of the same Estate of Record or otherwise and therefore I the said William Hemsley doe hereby give full authority and Warrant unto you the above named or menconed Attornyes or any or Either of you to Confesse and fully to acknowledge for mee and in my behalfe plenary satisfacon on Record of the said Judgment and all and Every other Judment and Judgments of any by me then or at any other time before that had obtained or Recovered against the Ex.rs or Estate of the said Edward Roe Deceased and of for or concerning all or any debt or debts Costs and charges Whatsoever Issueing due and payable out or ^of^ by the said Estate or of or from the said Mary Roe & William Combes by meanes of the premisses Recoverable in any wise how soev.r And for soe doeing this shall bee to yo.r and every and either of you a sufficient Warrant In Witnesse whereof I the said William Hemsley have hereunto sett my hand and seale this sixteenth day of July in the fourth yeare of the Dominion of Charles now absolute Lord and Propry of the said Province &c Annoq Domini One thousand six hundred seaventy nine Sealed & delivered in the p.rsence of William Hemsley (sealed) Thomas Vaughan James Sedgwick By virtue of a Procuration & Letter of Attorney to me granted by John Bawdon of London Marchant bearing date the sixteenth day of July Annoq Domini One thousand six hundred seaventy nine I doe hereby authorize you to bee Attorneys for the said John Bawdon to prosecute & defend all such suites as shall be commenced by the said John Bawdon in any the Courts of this Province against John Quigley Marchant Or shall bee by the said John Quigley prosecuted against the said John Bawdon in any of the said Courts And for your soe doeing this shall bee your sufficient Warrant Given under my hand and seale this sixteenth day of October Annoq Domini One thousand six hundred seaventy nine To Kenelme Cheseldyne Esqr and Robert Carvile Gent Attornyes in the Provinciall Court W.m Diggs (sealed) or either of you & To M.r Thomas Grumwill Nic Painter Maryland fs To Robert Carvile Robert Ridgely and William Crosse or any other Attorney of the Provinciall Court of the said Province greeting Whereas I John Rousby Gent and Barbary my wife obtained in the said Court held y.e three and twentieth day of February annoq Domini One thousand six hundred seaventy seaven a Certaine Judgm.t On a suite thence then depending against William Combs and Elizabeth his Wife and Mary Roe Exx of Edward Roe Gentl deceased as well for the sume of seaven thousand pounds of Tobacco for dammages as alsoe for six thousand and fifteene pounds of Tobacco more for Costs in the same suite Now Know all men by these p.rsents that I the said John Rousby doe (hereby |
