until surrendered, revoked, or suspended as hereinafter
provided. Every licensee shall, on or before the tenth
day of December, pay to the Commissioner the sun of
[three hundred dollars ($300)] [[$400]] $360 for each
license held by him, as a license fee for the succeeding
calendar year.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.

Regulation of Noxious Weeds — Johnsongrass

FOR the purpose of providing for written agreements
between landowners and the Maryland Department of
Agriculture exempting certain lands from violating
the Maryland feed Control Law.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 9-405 of Article - Agriculture,
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1974 Volume and 1974
Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed and re—enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

9-405.

Every failure to comply with the provisions of this
subtitle shall be reported to the state's attorney of any
county in which the violation occurs. The state's
attorney shall prosecute all violations and bring an
action to enjoin any nuisance. HOWEVER, A LANDOWNER MAY
ENTER INTO A WRITTEN AGREEMENT WITH THE SECRETARY OF
