Article 1A — Aviation

Section 1-100, 1-122, 6-601(a)(2), 6-601(h),
6-604(a), 7-701(f), 7-702(d), 7-703(h)(2) ,
7-704(a),           7-705(d)(1) ,             7-705 (d)(2),

7-705(f), 8-801(h), 8-802(j), 8-802(n),
8-803(e)(1), 8-803(e)(6), and 10-1001(c)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1968 Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 1-100, 1-122, 6-601(a) (2),
6-601(h) , 6-604(a), 7-701 (f), 7-702(d), 7-703(h)(2),
7-704(a), 7-705(d)(1), 7-705(d)(2), 7-705(f), 8-801(h),
8-802(j), 8-802(4), 8-803(e)(1), 8-803(e)(6), and
10-1001(c) of Article 1A — Aviation, of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume and 1974
Supplement) be and they are hereby repealed and
re—enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

Article 1A — Aviation

1-100.

As used in this article these terms have the
following meanings unless the context otherwise
requires[:].

1-122.

["Structure] "STRUCTURE" means any object or thing,
constructed, erected, placed or installed above the
surface of the ground, including, but without limitation,
buildings, fences, derrickes, haystacks, poles, wires,
towers and smokestacks[;].

6-601.

(a) (2) All airport operators are required to
keep reasonable records in the course of their business,
showing all aircraft based or hangared at their airports,
Such records shall include the "N" number, type and model
of the aircraft, its owner or operator and his address,
the number of days the aircraft was so based or hangared,
All airport operators shall submit such records to the
Administration[,] AND to law—enforcement officers.

(h) (1) Any aircraft found operating in the
State of Maryland in violation of any of the provisions
of this section may be seized and held by the State
Aviation Administration or the Maryland State Police
until the provisions of this section have been complied
with, and the person or persons responsible for such
