(D)   PERSON.

"PERSON" INCLUDES AN INDIVIDUAL, CORPORATION,

BUSINESS TRUST, ESTATE, TRUST, PARTNERSHIP, ASSOCIATION,
TWO OR MORE PERSONS HAVING A JOINT OR COMMON INTEREST, OR
ANY OTHER LEGAL OR COMMERCIAL ENTITY.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language
setting forth a broad, standardized definition
of the word "person" as used in this article.
It is a synthesis of the U.C.C. definitions of
"person" and "organization" contained in
§1—201 (28) and (30) of this article, except
that the reference to "government or
governmental subdivision or agency" is not
included.          This definition is in no way

intended to change the present law, merely to
clarify it.

(E)   PLATE.

"PLATE" MEANS A PLATE, STONE, BLOCK, OR OTHER
MATERIAL USED TO CREATE A FINE PRINT OR FROM WHICH A FINE
PRINT IS TAKEN.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection presently appears as
Art. 83, §178(c).

The only changes are in style.

(F) PRINT.

"PRINT" MEANS A FINE PRINT.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language
added to facilitate the simple use of the word
"print" in lieu of "fine print."

(G) SIGNED PRINT.

"SIGNED PRINT" MEANS A FINE PRINT AUTOGRAPHED BY THE
ARTIST, WHETHER IT WAS SIGNED OR UNSIGNED IN THE PLATE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language
derived without substantive change from Art.
83, §178(e).

It has been revised to conform to the usual
form of definition.
