Subsection (b) of this section presently
appears as Art. 83, §174. It is combined with
§173, since both sections deal, in effect,
with a guarantor's additional rights.

14-409. SHORT TITLE.

THIS SUBTITLE MAY BE CITED AS THE MARYLAND CONSUMER
PRODUCTS GUARANTY ACT.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section presently appears as
Art. 83, §168.

The reference to "Maryland" is added to
distinguish this subtitle from the Consumer
Products Guaranty Acts of other jurisdictions.

No other change is made.

GENERAL REVISOR'S NOTE

In revising this subtitle, the Commission to Revise
the Annotated Code concluded that present Art. 83,
§177(b) is unnecessary and repetitious in light of the
general severability provision of Art. 1, §23.
Accordingly, Art. 83, §177(b) is proposed for repeal.

With respect to warranty provisions in general, see
Title 2, Subtitle 3 of this article.
