Whenever any license issued under the provisions of
this article has been lost or destroyed, the official
issuing such a license shall have the power upon
application under oath and upon payment of a fee of one
dollar ($1.00) to issue another license upon which shall
be endorsed the word "duplicate" in addition to all of
the information which appeared upon the original license.
SECTION 30. Transfer of licenses
Any holder of a license under the provisions of this
article including a receiver or trustee for the benefit
of creditors may be permitted to transfer his place of
business to some other location and/or sell or assign
said license and transfer his stock in trade to another
person provided that application for such transfer and/or
sale shall be made and that a bulk transfer permit is
obtained where the stock of alcoholic beverages is to be
transferred whether by sale, gift, inheritance,
assignment, or otherwise, and irrespective of whether or
not consideration is paid and the new location and/or
assignee shall be approved as in the case of original
application for such license. Such transfer and/or
assignment when made shall be endorsed upon the license
by the official issuing the same upon payment of a fee of
one dollar ($1.00) in addition to the cost of application
and notice which shall be paid at the time of the filing
of the application for transfer and/or sale. This
section shall permit the transfer of location and the
assignment of license in the same application.
SECTION 31. Vacation of premises by licensee
On the tenth day after the holder of any license
issued under the provisions of this article shall have
vacated or been evicted from the premises for which said
license was issued, said license shall expire unless an
application for approval of a transfer thereof to another
location or assignment to another person has been
approved or is then pending providing, however, that the
official authorized to issue licenses may in his
discretion postpone such expiration for an additional
period not exceeding 20 days in any case to avoid any
undue hardship.
SECTION 32. Display of licenses
Every person receiving a license under the
provisions of this act, shall frame his license under
glass, place the same so that it shall at all times be
conspicuous and easily read in his place of business.
