necessary for the immediate preservation of the public
health and safety and having been passed by a yea and nay
vote supported by three—fifths of all the members elected
to each of the two Houses of the General assembly, the
same shall take effect from the date of its passage.

FOR the purpose of clarifying the language and certain
terms which relate to the disposition of alcoholic
beverage license fees for Talbot County.

BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments,

Section 63 (g)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 63(g) of Article 2B - Alcoholic
Beverages, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1968
Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and re—enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

(g) In Talbot County the salaries of the board of
license commissioners[, together with] AND the necessary
office, clerical, and investigational expenses of the
board shall be paid by the County [Commissioners] COUNCIL
out of receipts from licenses for the sale of alcoholic
beverages. [Provided, however, that] HOWEVER, the board
[shall] MAY EXPEND IV ITS DISCRETION not (expend] more
than [three thousand five hundred dollars] $3,500 in any
year for salaries and expenses[, said sum or sums to be
expended in the discretion of the board].
