MONTGOMERY COUNTY
(1) RECEIVE AND CONSIDER THE RECOMMENDATION
OF THE COUNTY EXECUTIVE AS TO WHETHER THE GRANT OR LOAN
SHALL BE APPROVED IN WHOLE OR IN PART.
(2) HOLD A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED
URBAN RENEWAL GRANT OR LOAN APPLICATION, AFTER FIFTEEN
(15) DAYS NOTICE IN A NEWSPAPER HAVING GENERAL
CIRCULATION IN THE COUNTY, GIVING THE TIME, PLACE AND
DATE OF THE HEARING, AND AN OPPORTUNITY FOR THE PUBLIC TO
VIEW THE PLANS AND/OR ADOPT THE FINDINGS OF THE LOCAL
MUNICIPALITY.
(3) APPROVE OR DENY THE GRANT OR LOAN BY
RESOLUTION.
56-24 BONDS TO FINANCE PROJECT.
FOR THE PURPOSE OF FINANCING AND CARRYING OUT THIS
GRANT OR LOAN PROGRAM, THE COUNTY IS GRANTED THE POWER
AND AUTHORITY TO BORROW HONEY AND INCUR INDEBTEDNESS AND
TO EVIDENCE SUCH BORROWING OR INDEBTEDNESS BY THE
ISSUANCE, AT ANY TIME, AND FROM TIME TO TIME, ITS GENERAL
OBLIGATION SERIAL MATURITY BONDS, UPON THE FULL FAITH AND
CREDIT OF MONTGOMERY COUNTY AS PROVIDED FOR IN SECTION
56-13 OR BY THE USE OF REVENUE BONDS AS PROVIDED FOR IN
SECTION 56-14.
Sec. 2. Effective Date, This Article shall take
effect on the 76th day following the date on which it
becomes law.

AN ACT to amend Chapter 27, title "Human Relations
and Civil Liberties," of the Montgomery County Code 1972,
by adding a new Article V, title "Discrimination in
Employment," to follow immediately after Article IV
thereof, to provide generally for the prohibition of
discriminatory employment practices, because of race,
color, religious creed, ancestry, national origin, age,
sex or marital status; to define "person," "employer,"
"employment agency," "labor organization," and
"employee"; to prohibit any employer to fail or refuse to
hire, or to discharge, any individual or to otherwise
discriminate against any individual or to limit,
segregate or classify employees so as to affect adversely
