SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED BY THE COUNTY

take effect sixty (60) days after enactment.

AN ACT to add Section 18.124(y) to Title 18, "Public
Works," subtitle "Public Utilities," of the Howard
County Code, to incorporate into the Metropolitan
District of Howard County the individual parcel of
land owned by Robert L. McCan.

WHEREAS, this Act is made pursuant to Section 18.101
of the Howard County Code which provides that the
Metropolitan District may be enlarged by acts of the
County Council.

WHEREAS, a petition was submitted to the Director of
Public Works by the owner to incorporate certain parcel
of land into the Metropolitan District.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF
HOWARD COUNTY, MARYLAND that Section 18.124(y) be and is
hereby added to Title 18 of the Howard County Code, title
"Public Works," subtitle "Public Utilities," to read as
follows:

1. THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED AND REFERRED TO PARCEL
OF LAND SHALL BE INCORPORATED INTO THE METROPOLITAN
DISTRICT OF HOWARD COUNTY AS OF JUNE 1, 1974.

(A) PROPERTY OWNED BY ROBERT L. MCCAN AND LOCATED
ON CEDAR LANE AND FURTHER DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS:
