COUNTY LOCAL LAWS

Bill No. 91-74

AN ORDINANCE to repeal and re-enact, with
amendments. Sections 1—211 (b) and 1-215(a) and (b) of
the Anne Arundel County Code (1967 Edition and
Supplements), Title 1, "Administration", Subtitle 2,
"Personnel", Article II, "Classified Service", (as last
amended by Bill No. 69-74, to add new Sections 1-217

(103A), (332A) and (334A) to said Code, Title, Subtitle
and Article, to follow immediately after Sections 1—217

(103), (332) and (334) thereof, and to repeal Sections
1-217 (24), (42) and (117) of said Code, Title, Subtitle
and Article, to establish the rate of overtime
compensation for the Chief, Survey Party, to change the
salary grades for certain existing Class Titles; to
create the new positions of Federal Aide Coordinator,
Cash Collection Supervisor and Mail Room Supervisor, and
to establish the pay grades and minimum requirements
therefor; to eliminate the positions and pay grades of
Assessor's Aide, Attorney I and Assistant Director of
Administration; and matters generally related thereto.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNTY COUNCIL OF
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, MARYLAND, That Sections 1-211(b) and
1-215(a) and (b) of the Anne Arundel County Code (1967
Edition and Supplements), Title 1, "Administration",
Subtitle 2, "Personnel", Article II, "Classified
Service", (as last amended by Bill No. 69—74) be, and
they are hereby repealed and re—enacted, with amendments,
to read as follows:

Section 1—211

(b) An employee EITHER in a position of a class
below grade 16 OR THE POSITION OF CHIEF, SURVEY PARTY
subject to the annual pay schedule as provided in Section
1—216(a) who is authorized to perform overtime service
shall be compensated at the equivalent rate for all hours
worked in excess of the regular work week. Any
authorized overtime service shall be compensated at one
and one—half (1 1/2) times the equivalent hourly rate.

Section 1—215

(a) Unless otherwise applicable by the remaining
subsections of this section, the below listed class
titles and salary grades shall apply to all classified
