SALISBURY

nail Easting 1,207,455.44 Northing 198,265.35; thence
still along the south side of said U. S. Route #50 South
eighty—three degrees four minutes eighteen seconds West
(S 83° 04' 18" W) forty-four decimal five, four (44.54)
feet to a point on the existing corporate limit Easting
1,207,411.23 Northing 198,259.98; thence by and with said
corporate limit South twenty-six degrees twenty-five
minutes forty—seven seconds Best (S 26° 25' 47" W) four
hundred and seventy—eight decimal eight, one (478.81)
feet to the point of beginning and containing
approximately 110.11 acres. All bearings and coordinates
are referenced to the Maryland State Coordinate System.

RESOLUTION NO. 180

A RESOLUTION of the Council of The City of Salisbury
proposing the annexation to the City of Salisbury of a
certain area of land situated contiguous to and binding
upon the Northeasterly corporate limits of the City of
Salisbury, popularly known as the Salisbury Hall
Annexation, and bounded on the Southwest by the existing
corporate limits of the City of Salisbury and bonded on
the Northwest in part by the Northwesterly line of the
land of Bankers Life Company and in part by Civic Avenue,
and bounded on the Northeast by the Northeasterly line of
the property of Salisbury Shopping Center, Inc. and
bounded on the Southeast in part by the Southeasterly
line of the buildings of Salisbury Shopping Center, Inc.,
and in part by the Southeasterly line of the property of
Bankers Life Company, and providing for conditions and
circumstances applicable to the proposed changes in
boundary of the City of Salisbury.

WHEREAS, The City of Salisbury has received consents
to annexation, signed by at least 25% of the persons who
reside in the area to be annexed and who are registered
voters and by the owners of at least 25% of the assessed
valuation of the real property located in the area sought
to be annexed, being contiguous to and binding upon the
Northeasterly corporate limits of The City of Salisbury
and called "Salisbury Mall Annexation", for
identification, and

WHEREAS, The City of Salisbury has caused to be made
a certification of the signatures on said consent to
annexation and has verified that the persons signing the
petition represent at least 25% of the persons who reside
in the area to be annexed and who are registered to vote
in the county elections for Wicomico County, in which
said area is located and that the persons signing the
