STATE ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF ELECTION LAWS
ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 23—11 of
Article 33 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, the State
Administrative Board of Election Laws does hereby certify
that at the General Election held in the State of
Maryland on November 5, 1974, an Act known as Chapter 888
of the Acts of 1974 was submitted to the voters of the
State of Maryland under the provisions of Article XIV of
the Constitution of the State of Maryland, said Act being
as follows:
AN ACT concerning City of Baltimore — Residential
Financing Loans. For the purpose of adding a new Article
to the Constitution to authorize the Mayor and City
Council of Baltimore to make, guarantee or insure
financial loans for or in connection with the purchase,
acquisition, construction, erection, or development of
residential property in Baltimore City, including any
land necessary therefor, and submitting this amendment to
the qualified voters of the State for adoption or
rejection.
And it is hereby certified that at said election,
285,296 votes were cast for the adoption of said Chapter
888 and 191,534 votes were cast against the adoption of
said Chapter 888, the said Chapter 888 of the Acts of
1974 has therefore been ratified by the qualified voters
of Baltimore City of the State of Maryland.

Administrative Board of Election Laws of the State of
Maryland, Done at the City of Annapolis, this 27th day of
November, In the Year of Our Lord, One Thousand, Nine
Hundred and Seventy—Four.
