Abuse Laws

AN ACT concerning

Child Abuse Law — Technical Corrections

FOR the purpose of making technical corrections to the
laws relating to child abuse.

May 15, 1975.

Annapolis, Maryland

Dear Mr. Speaker:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the
Maryland Constitution, I have today vetoed House Bill
1055.

This bill makes certain technical corrections in the
laws relating to child abuse.

House Bill 390, which was enacted by the General
Assembly and signed by me on April 8, 1975, accomplishes
the same purpose as House Bill 1055.

Therefore, it is unnecessary for me to sign House
Bill 1055.
