Honorable John Hanson Briscoe
Speaker of the House of Delegates
State House
Annapolis, Maryland
Dear Mr. Speaker:
In accordance with Article II, Section 17, of the
Maryland Constitution, I have today vetoed House Bill
984.
This bill authorizes Baltimore City to borrow one
million dollars for residential rehabilitation loans.
Senate Bill 644, which was enacted by the General
Assembly and signed toy me on April 22, 1975, accomplishes
the same purpose.
Therefore, it is unnecessary for me to sign House
Bill 984.
Sincerely,
/s/ Marvin Mandel
Governor
