MARVIN MANDEL, Governor

3945

May 15, 1975.
Honorable Steny H. Hoyer
President of the Senate
State House
Annapolis, Maryland

Dear Mr. President:

In accordance with Article II, Section 17 of the
Maryland Constitution, I have today vetoed Senate Bill
324.

This bill provides an alternative method of giving
notice to defendants in suits to foreclose all rights of
redemption of certain property.

House Bill 520, which was enacted by the General
Assembly and signed by me on May 15, 1975, accomplishes
the same purpose.

Therefore it is unnecessary for me to sign Senate
Bill 324.

Sincerely,

/s/ Marvin Mandel

Governor

Senate Bill No. 409 — Unemployment Insurance for
Public Employees

AN ACT concerning

State Employees — Unemployment Insurance Coverage

FOR the purpose of providing unemployment insurance
compensation for all employees of this State or
instrumentalities; and clarifying language.

May 15, 1975.
Honorable Steny H. Hoyer
President of the Senate
