AN ACT concerning
Agriculture — Funds for Administering Certain Laws
FOR the purpose of providing that monies collected by the
State under the Pesticide Registration and Labeling
Law, the Commercial Feed Law, the Commercial
Fertilizer Law, the Agricultural Liming Materials
and Gypsum Law are to be special funds of the
respective collecting agency which when unexpended
up to a certain maximum do not revert to general
funds of the State at the end of the fiscal year.
BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments,

Sections 5-103, 6-103, 6-204, and 6-303

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 5-103, 6-103, 6-204, and 6-303 of
Article — Agriculture, of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1974 Volume and 1974 Supplement) be and they are hereby
repealed and re—enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:
Article — Agriculture
5-103.
The registration fee and all late fees under this
subtitle shall be placed in a SPECIAL fund to BE USED
ONLY TO defray partially the cost of administering this
subtitle. NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISIONS OF THIS
CODE, [Any] ANY unexpended funds UP TO A MAXIMUM OF
$100,000 [shall] MAY NOT revert to the general funds of
the State at the end of the fiscal year.

Registration fees constitute a SPECIAL fund to BE
USED ONLY TO defray partially the cost of inspection,
sampling, analysis, and other expenses necessary for
administering this subtitle, NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER
