three—year term, one member of each group for a four—year
term, and the chairman to be designated by the Secretary
of Licensing and Regulation for a four—year term.
Appointments shall thereafter be for a term of four
years, except that in the event of any vacancy the
appointment shall be for the unexpired term of the holder
thereof. It shall be the duty of the advisory board to
assist the Commissioner in the formulation of rules and
regulations as prescribed in this section. Members of
the advisory board shall serve without pay but shall be
reimbursed for their travel and reasonable expenses in
[amounts approved by the Commissioner of Labor and
Industry] ACCORDANCE WITH STANDARD TRAVEL REGULATIONS.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section
12(4) of Article 73B — Pensions, of the Annotated Code of
Maryland (1970 Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement) be
and it is hereby repealed and re—enacted, with
amendments, to read as follows:

(4) The trustees shall serve without compensation,
but they shall be reimbursed, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
STANDARD TRAVEL REGULATIONS, from the Expense Fund,
provided under § 14 of this article, for all necessary
expenses that they may incur through service on the
board.
SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Sections
137(a) and 196(4) of Article 77 - Public Education, of
the Annotated Code of Maryland (1969 Replacement Volume
and 1974 Supplement) be and they are hereby repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments, to read as follows:

(a) The State Board of Education and the Workmen's
Compensation Commission are hereby empowered and directed
to cooperate in the administration of this chapter, and
to formulate a plan of cooperation, to become effective
when approved by the Governor. In order to facilitate
the cooperation between these two agencies in the
administration of this chapter, the Governor shall
appoint a committee, to be known as the Injured Workers'
Rehabilitation Committee, to advise the Workmen's
Compensation Commission with respect to all phases of
rehabilitation of injured workers filing claims for
