LAWS OF MARYLAND

[Ch. 49

PAYMENT IS PRIMA FACIE EVIDENCE OF CONVERSION OF THE
GOODS OR AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from Art. 27, §169.

GENERAL REVISOR'S NOTE

In revising this subtitle, the Commission to Revise
the Annotated Code concluded that present Art. 2, §§ 7, 9
through 11, and 14 are unnecessary and obsolete in light
of the Federal Bankruptcy Act, as well as Title 2 of this
article. In this regard, see revisor's notes to Title
15, Subtitle 1 of this article. Accordingly, Art. 2, §§
7, 9 through 11, and 14 are proposed for repeal.

forth a broad, standardized definition of the
word "person" as used in this article. It is
a synthesis of the U.C.C. definitions of
"person" and "organization" contained in
§1-201 (28) and (30) of this article, except
that the reference to "government or
governmental subdivision or agency" is not
included. This definition is in no way
intended to change the existing law, merely to
clarify it.
