AN ACT concerning

Oil Disaster Containment — Clean—Up and
Contingency Fund

FOR the purpose of abolishing the fixed monetary ceiling
on the Maryland Oil Disaster Containment, Clean-up,
and Contingency Fund; [[abolishing]] providing for
the abatement of the collection of certain license
fees if a fixed ceiling is attained [[; and
authorizing the Department of Natural Resources
temporarily to abate or reduce certain license fees
if the Oil Disaster Containment, Clean-up and
Contingency Fund attains a certain size]].

BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments,

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Sections 8-1411(c) and (f) of Article -
Natural Resources, of the Annotated Code of Maryland
(1974 Volume and 1974 Supplement) be and they are hereby
repealed and re—enacted, with amendments, to read as
follows:

—A license required under this section shall be secured
from the Department subject to terms and conditions set
forth in this section, and by paying an annual fee
