Section 17A

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1968 Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 17A be and it is hereby added
to Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages, of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume and 1974
Supplement) to read as follows:

Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages

17A.

THE CITY OF ANNAPOLIS MAY ISSUE A LICENSE TO AN
ESTABLISHMENT WHERE THE LICENSEE IS AUTHORIZED TO KEEP
FOR SALE AND TO SELL BEER AND LIGHT WINE AT RETAIL BOTH
FOR CONSUMPTION ON THE PREMISES AND ELSEWHERE OR FOR
CONSUMPTION ON THE PREMISES ONLY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.

Law—enforcement Officers — Bill of Rights

FOR the purpose of providing that the provisions of this
subtitle apply to the police forces of the State
Aviation Administration of the Department of
Transportation, the Toll Facilities of the Maryland
Transportation Authority and the Department of
Natural Resources but do not apply to
law—enforcement officers in a probationary status,
except when allegations of brutality are involved,
or persons serving at the pleasure of the head of
the agency; changing the name of "Investigating
