LESS THAN 13 WEEKS DURING THE PRECEDING CALENDAR YEAR, OR

(IV)   THE INDIVIDUAL, OTHER THAN AN INDIVIDUAL
DESCRIBED IN (III) OF THIS SUBPARAGRAPH, IS

(A)    16 YEARS OF AGE OR UNDER AND IS
EMPLOYED AS A HAND-HARVEST LABORER, AND IS PAID ON A
PIECE RATE BASIS IN AN OPERATION WHICH HAS BEEN, AND IS
CUSTOMARILY AND GENERALLY RECOGNIZED AS HAVING BEEN, PAID
ON A PIECE RATE BASIS IN THE REGION OF EMPLOYMENT,

(B)     EMPLOYED ON THE SAME FARM AS HIS
PARENT OR PERSON STANDING IN THE PLACE OF HIS PARENT, AND

(C)    PAID AT THE SAME PIECE RATE AS
EMPLOYEES OVER AGE 16 ARE PAID ON THE SAME FARM, OR

(V)    THE INDIVIDUAL IS PRINCIPALLY ENGAGED IN
THE RANGE PRODUCTION OF LIVESTOCK;

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.

AN ACT concerning

Municipal Corporations — Annexation

FOR the purpose of providing that in Anne Arundel County
annexations of lands by municipal corporations, in
addition to the requirements for effectiveness
provided by existing law, shall be subject to
suspension by county ordinance as herein provided,
and in that event, shall be submitted to a
referendum of the county electorate, all in the
manner and with the effect herein provided.
