ATTEMPTS TO BOY ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES FOR A MINOR,
INCLUDING HIMSELF, WHERE THE SALE IS PROHIBITED BY
SUBSECTION (A), SHALL BE GUILTY OF A MISDEMEANOR, AND
UPON CONVICTION SHALL BE SUBJECT TO THE PENALTIES
PROVIDED BY §200 OF THIS ARTICLE, THE PURCHASER MAY NOT
BE PROSECUTED WHERE THERE HAVE BEEN NO CHARGES UNDER
SUBSECTION (A).]]

(f) In Somerset, Caroline, Dorchester,___Cecil,

Frederick, Washington, GARRETT, and Queen Anne's
counties, it shall be unlawful for any person under the
age of twenty—one years to, possess or have upon his
person any alcoholic beverages other than beer and light
wine and for any person under eighteen years to possess
or have upon his person any [beer or light wine]
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE, except a bona fide employee in the
course of his employment. Any minor having such
alcoholic beverages in his possession as aforesaid shall
upon conviction be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and
shall be fined not more than fifty dollars ($50.00).

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.
