Maryland—National Capital Park and Planning Commission —

Mandatory Park Tax

FOR the purpose of [[raising the authorization for the
issuance of bonds in Prince George's County and the
levy of the mandatory park tax pledged to the
payment of bonds within that portion of the
Maryland—Washington Metropolitan District within
Montgomery and Prince George's Counties for the
purpose of financing the acquisition and development
of parkland; and]] repealing an obsolete and
superfluous provision relating to the Commission's
debt limitations.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That [[Sections]] Section 45(b) [[and 51(c)]]
of Chapter 780 of the Acts of the General Assembly of
1959, being also [[Sections]] Section 85-45[[(d)]] (b)
[[and 85—51(c)]] of the Public Local Laws of Montgomery
County being Article 16 of the Code of Public Local Laws
of Maryland (1972 Edition and 1973 Supplement, as
amended), being also [[Sections]] Section 59-50[[ (d)]]
