awarded credit if he has received credit for a period of
military service under another retirement system, for
which retirement benefits have been or will be received
by him; however, this exclusion does not apply to any
such credit provided through Federal Old Age and
Survivors Insurance (Social Security), the National
Railroad Retirement Act, or to any disability payments
from any pension or retirement system OR TO MEMBERS
ELIGIBLE FOR BENEFITS UNDER TITLE 3 OR TITLE 10, CHAPTER
67, SECTIONS 1331 THROUGH 1337 OF THE U. S. CODE. In
addition, the military service credit herein provided
shall not exceed five years. The State or another
employing agency shall make all necessary contributions
to the pension and annuity funds for the funding of
military service credit upon the attainment of ten years
of creditable service by any member so entitled to the
credit. The boards, trustees, or others charged with the
administration of any pension or retirement fund or
system are hereby authorized to issue rules and
regulations to carry out the provisions of this section,
any present rules and regulations to the contrary
notwithstanding.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.

AN ACT concerning
Equal Credit Opportunity Act
FOR the purpose of prohibiting certain discriminatory
practices by certain persons who extend credit;
providing for enforcement of the provisions of the
Equal Credit Opportunity Act; providing
administrative and civil remedies; providing
penalties; and generally relating to the extension
of credit in this State.

Sections 12-701 through [[12-707]] 12-708,
inclusive, to be under the new subtitle,
"Subtitle 7. Equal Credit Opportunity Act"
