Thereafter, all appointments shall be for terns of three
years. The Governor shall designate a chairman from
among the members representing the general public. The
Governor shall fill any vacancy which occurs before the
expiration of a term, for the balance of the term so
remaining. Members of the board shall receive such
compensation as provided in the budget and shall be
reimbursed for [actual] expenses IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE
STANDARD TRAVEL REGULATIONS. The board shall have such
staff as provided in the budget.

(d) Any expenses and any other costs for each of
the board in attending board meetings shall be met by the
board IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STANDARD TRAVEL REGULATIONS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section
2—402(d) of Article — Agriculture, of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1974 Volume and 1974 Supplement) be and it
is hereby repealed and re—enacted, with amendments, to
read as follows:

(d) The Governor shall designate a chairman from
among the members representing the general public. The
Governor shall fill any vacancy in an unexpired term.
Members of the board shall receive the compensation
provided in the State budget, and shall be reimbursed for
[actual] expenses IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE STANDARD TRAVEL
REGULATIONS. The board shall have the staff provided in
the State budget.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section
1—106(a) of Article — Natural Resources, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1974 Volume and 1974
Supplement) be and it is hereby repealed and re—enacted,
with amendments, to read as follows:

Article — Natural Resources
1-106.

(a) The board of review of the Department of
Natural Resources is created and continued: It consists
of seven members appointed by the Governor with the
advice of the Secretary and with the advice and consent
of the Senate. Of the seven members appointed, not less
than four shall be selected from and represent the
