organizations]] the Regional Planning Council and
generally relating to this representation.

BY adding to

[[Article 23A - Corporations - Municipal

Section 48

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1973 Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement)]]

Article 78D — Regional Planning Council

Section 4[[(1)]] (1)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1969 Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section [[48]] 4(l) be and it is
hereby added to Article [[23A — Corporations - Municipal,
of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1973 Replacement
Volume and 1974 Supplement)]] 78D — Regional Planning
Council, of the Annotated Code" of Maryland (1969
Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement) to read as
follows:

[[Article 23A — Corporations — Municipal

48.

(A)    EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN ARTICLE 25, SECTION 26A
OF THIS CODE, AND NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISIONS OF
LAW, MEMBERSHIP OF ALL REGIONAL PLANNING COUNCILS OR
SIMILAR REGIONAL PLANNING ORGANIZATIONS ESTABLISHED
PURSUANT TO THE GENERAL LAIS OR PUBLIC LOCAL LAWS OF THE
STATE SHALL INCLUDE AT LEAST ONE MUNICIPAL REPRESENTATIVE
WHO SHALL REPRESENT ALL MUNICIPALITIES WITHIN THE
REGIONAL PLANNING COUNCIL OR ORGANIZATION.

(B)    THE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE INCORPORATED
MUNICIPALITIES SHALL BE THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE OF THE
MUNICIPALITY OR A MEMBER OF ITS GOVERNING BODY CHOSEN BY
THE BODY TO BE ITS REPRESENTATIVE.

(C)    THE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE INCORPORATED
MUNICIPALITIES SHALL BE A FULL VOTING MEMBER OF THE
COUNCIL AND SHALL HAVE THE SAME RIGHTS AND POWERS AS ALL
OTHER VOTING MEMBERS.

(D)    IF THERE ARE MORE THAN ONE INCORPORATED
MUNICIPALITIES WHICH LIE WITHIN A REGIONAL PLANNING
