(1) [(2)] Transactions validly entered into before
the effective date specified in § 10—101 and the rights,
duties and interests flowing from them remain valid
thereafter and may be terminated, completed, consummated
or enforced as required or permitted by any statute or
other law amended or repealed by TITLES 1 THROUGH 10 OF
this article as though such repeal or amendment had not
occurred.
(2) [(3)] Record books, indices, dockets, and any
other papers or records permitted or required to be
recorded, filed or maintained in the office of the clerk
of the circuit court for any county or in the office of
the clerk of the Superior Court of Baltimore City under
the provisions of any article, section, or other portion
of the Maryland Code repealed by [subsection (1) above]
CH. 538, ACTS OF 1963 may be destroyed or otherwise
disposed of by said clerk at any time after the
expiration of five (5) years and sixty (60) days from the
date of the last pertinent date thereon or record entry
therein, provided that the requirements of §§ 177, 178
and 180 of Article 41 of the Code, title
"Governor—Executive and Administrative Departments,"
have been complied with.
10—103. General repealer.
Except as provided in the following section, all
laws and parts of laws inconsistent with TITLES 1 THROUGH
10 OF this article are hereby repealed.
