FOR the purpose of changing the expiration date of all
alcoholic beverage licenses in Garrett County.

Section 68(d-1)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1968 Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 68(d—1) be and it is hereby
added to Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume and
1974 Supplement) to read as follows:

Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages

68.

(D-1) IN GARRETT COUNTY, THE CLERK OF THE [[COUNTY]]
COURT OF THE COUNTY MAY ISSUE NEW LICENSES FOR THE
ENSUING YEAR AS PROVIDED IN THIS SECTION AT ANY TIME
BETWEEN JUNE 15 AND JULY 1 OF EACH AND EVERY YEAR, BUT
ALL LICENSES SHALL BE DATED JULY 1. DURING THE FIRST
CALENDAR YEAR, THE COUNTY LIQUOR CONTROL BOARD SHALL
PRORATE ALL CLASS LICENSES FOR A PERIOD OF 14 MONTHS.
THEREAFTER, [[LICENSEES]] LICENSES SHALL BE PRORATED ON A
12 MONTH BASIS.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.
