Annotated Code of Maryland

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 7B be and it is hereby added
to Article 77A — Higher Education, of the Annotated Code
of Maryland (1969 Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement)
to read as follows:

NOTWITHSTANDING ANY OTHER PROVISIONS OF THE LAW TO
THE CONTRARY, FOR THE PURPOSE OF COMPUTING THE SHARES OF
THE STATE, LOCAL SUBDIVISIONS, AND STUDENTS FOR THE
SUPPORT OF CHESAPEAKE COLLEGE AND GARRETT COUNTY
COMMUNITY COLLEGE[[, FOR FISCAL YEAR 1976 ONLY,]] THE
STATUTORY BASE SHALL BE [[$3,000]] [[$2,600]] $2,365 PER
FULL-TIME EQUIVALENT STUDENT. THE STATE SHALL PAY A 55
PERCENT SHARE, THE STUDENT SHALL PAY A [[12]] 13 PERCENT
SHARE, AND THE LOCAL SUBDIVISION SHALL PAY A [[33]] 21
PERCENT SHARE, WITH THE STATE'S SHARE NOT TO EXCEED THE
SUM OF [[$1,650]] [[$1,430]] $1,300 FOR EACH FULL-TIME
EQUIVALENT STUDENT.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.
