added to Article 2B - Alcoholic Beverages, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1968 Replacement Volume and
1974 Supplement), and that Section 13(1) of said Article
and Code, be and it is hereby repealed and re—enacted
with amendments and all to read as follows:

Article 2B — Alcoholic Beverages

13.

(1) IN HOWARD COUNTY, THE ANNUAL FEE FOR A CLASS A
BEER AND LIGHT WINE LICENSE IS $175.

(H) This section [shall] DOES not apply to the
City of Annapolis nor to Calvert, Charles, Dorchester,
Garrett, [Howard,] Kent, Queen Anne's, St. Mary's, and
Talbot counties, in all of which jurisdictions such
licenses [shall] MAY not be issued.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.
