Attorney may deem proper, (4) The State's Attorney may
appoint one administrative assistant whose salary shall
be as set by the County Council of Anne Arundel County
but not less than [five thousand dollars ($5,000)]
$10,000 annually. (5) The State's Attorney may from time
to time, if deemed wise or necessary, with the approval
of the senior judge of the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel
County, appoint a temporary assistant State's attorney
for a particular case or series of cases and may fix the
compensation [therefor].
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.

AN ACT concerning
The Maryland Register and Code of
Maryland Regulations
FOR the purpose of clarifying that publication of notice
of intent to adopt rules and opportunity for public
comment is not necessary for emergency rules;
requiring that rules adopted pursuant to the
Administrative Procedure Act prior to the effective
date of the State Documents Law be compiled by the
Administrator of the Division of State Documents as
a part of the Code of Maryland Regulations; changing
the time period for filing proposed rules with the
Division of State Documents for publication and with
the Joint Standing Committee on Administrative,
Executive, and Legislative Review; making certain
changes as to the effective date of rules;
clarifying the law with regard to regulations which
are proposed for repeal; permitting the
Administrator to establish editorial standards and a
codification system; permitting the Administrator to
correct minor printing or editorial errors;
providing that the provisions of the State Documents
Law, insofar as they impose requirements for notice
prior to adoption of rules, publication of proposed
and adopted rules, effective date of rules, and
filing of proposed and adopted rules, may not be
considered to have invalidated any rule, or
