FOR the purpose of deleting a provision concerning
certain laws pertaining to Sunday sales in Worcester
County; and clarifying language.

BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments,

Article 27 — Crimes and Punishments

Section 534T(b)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1971 Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 534T(b) of Article 27 - Crimes and
Punishments, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1971
Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and re—enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:

Article 27 — Crimes and Punishments

534T.

(b) [Nothing in this] THIS section (shall be
construed to] DOES NOT affect or change any existing
public general law or public local law pertaining to
Sabbath breaking in the City of Ocean City for any
public general law or public local law in existence or
hereinafter enacted pertaining to Sabbath breaking in
Worcester County].

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.
