AN ACT concerning

School Vehicles — Driver's Requirements

FOR the purpose of establishing requirements for driving
a certain school vehicle [[for certain purposes]].

BY adding to

Article 66 1/2 — Vehicle Laws

Section 6-102.5

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1970 Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section 6—102.5 be and it is hereby
added to Article 66 1/2 — Vehicle Laws, of the Annotated
Code of Maryland (1970 Replacement Volume and 1974
Supplement) to read as follows:

A PERSON MAY DRIVE A TYPE II SCHOOL VEHICLE [[FOR
NONPUBLIC SPECIAL EDUCATION FACILITIES]] IF THE PERSON:

(1)    IS AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE;

(2)    HAS BEEN ISSUED A CLASS C LICENSE; AND

(3)    PASSES A MEDICAL EXAMINATION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.
