(2) SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF THE DEPARTMENT, A
LOCAL GOVERNING BODY MAY USE PART OF [[THEIR]] ITS
ACQUISITION FUNDS FOR INITIAL OR PERIODIC UPDATING OF
RECREATION AND PARKS MASTER PLANS . THE AMOUNT THAT MAY
BE USED BY A SUBDIVISION FOR PLANNING PURPOSES SHALL NOT
EXCEED $10.000 FOR ANY ONE FISCAL YEAR, WHICH AMOUNT
SHALL BE MATCHED BY FUNDS FROM THE SUBDIVISION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.

Natural Resources — Repeal of Obsolete Provision

FOR the purpose of repealing a provision of the natural
resources laws transferred to the Natural Resources
Article and inadvertently left unrepealed in Article
66C.

Section 125C

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1970 Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 125C of Article 66C - Natural
Resources, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1970
Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.
