SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That new Section [[24(b)(6)]] 54D be and it is
hereby added to Article 78 - Public Service Commission
Law, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1969 Replacement
Volume and 1974 Supplement) to read as follows:

Article 78 — Public Service Commission Law

[[24.]] 54D.

[[(b) (6) PASS ON FUEL COSTS TO CONSUMERS.]]

ANY GAS OR ELECTRIC COMPANY WHICH DIRECTLY PASSES ON
TO ITS CUSTOMERS ANY CHANGE IN ITS FUEL COSTS IS REQUIRED
EACH MONTH TO VERIFY AND JUSTIFY THE ADJUSTED FUEL COSTS
TO THE COMMISSION. THE COMMISSION MAY CONDUCT A PUBLIC
HEARING WHERE IT DEEMS IT NECESSARY.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.

AN ACT concerning

Human Relations Commission — Interlocutory Court Relief

FOR the purpose of providing that the Human Relations
Commission may seek certain types of court relief in
certain cases at any time after a complaint has been
filed alleging discrimination in public
accommodations, employment or housing.
