SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That Section 26(d) of Article 101 - Workmen's
Compensation, of the Annotated Code of Maryland (1964
Replacement Volume and 1974 Supplement) be and it is
hereby repealed and re—enacted, with amendments, to read
as follows:
Article 101 — Workmen's Compensation

(d) [[EXCEPT FOR PERSONS ELIGIBLE FOR BENEFITS
UNDER THE SOCIAL SECURITY ACT AS AMENDED FROM TIME TO
TIME,]] [The] [[THE]] The provisions of this article are
not applicable to any person who is eligible, under a
federal law OTHER THAN THE SOCIAL SECURITY ACT AS AMENDED
FROM TIME TO TIME , to receive benefits due to the
contracting of "pneumoconiosis[,]", otherwise known as
black lung[.] disease, or any OTHER OCCUPATIONAL DISEASE
OR DUE TO THE SUFFERING OF AN accidental injury, unless
the person makes claim for benefits due to the
contracting of an occupational disease or due to the
suffering of an accidental injury for which he is not
entitled to benefits under any federal law.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.

AN ACT concerning
Correctional Training Commission — Membership
FOR the purpose of increasing the membership of the
Correctional Training Commission; amending the
present representation on the Commission; and
providing that certain members may designate another
person to attend meetings and act on their behalf at
the meetings.
BY repealing and re—enacting, with amendments,
Article 41 — Governor — Executive and
Administrative Departments
