SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That Section
4—1038(a)(6) of Article - Natural Resources, of the
Annotated Code of Maryland (1974 Volume and 1974
Supplement) be and it is hereby renumbered to be Section
1038(a) (5) and to read as follows:

Article — Natural Resources

4-1038.

(a) Except as provided in § 4—1039, a person may
not catch soft—shell class by hydraulic clam dredge in
the following waters:

[(6)] (5) Talbot County, ---(i) In the Tred

Avon River and in Town Creek in front of Oxford, between
the shoreline and the center of the channel, except
during October and November;

(ii) Within 1,200 feet of the Federal
Research Laboratory at Oxford.

SECTION 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act
shall take effect July 1, 1975.
